Why travel 6 hours or more to outer banks? Located only 1.5 hours from Northern Virginia and less than an hour from Richmond, this home is ideal for large groups, multiple families and reunions. Built in May 2015, Sunset Shores was designed with luxury, comfort and convenience in mind. This waterfront home is on the Private (also called 'warm') side of the lake, and has the best of both worlds - wide water sunset views all year long, while also providing the privacy and calm waters of a cove, with the unique feature of onsite gas for your watercraft!
Available for weekly rentals Sunday to Sunday, or 3 day minimum in non-peak season. Reservations can be made 11.5 months in advance of your check-in date. This home boasts 7 bedrooms – each with their own dedicated bathroom with quartz countertops and custom tile. Luxurious rain shower heads in each bathroom. Each bedroom was designed to have its own unique features. Each of the 6 master bedrooms has french doors leading to decks or patios and has gorgeous lake views. One master bedroom comes with a wheelchair accessible bathroom with a steam room shower.
Watch gorgeous sunsets and Lake Anna’s famous fireworks show from your own private beach or from the house’s huge deck or screened porch. Bird watchers will enjoy seeing bald eagles, great blue heron, osprey, woodpeckers, cormoran, geese and a wide variety of other birds.
Outdoor recreation includes: your own private boardwalk and soft sand beach; private on-site volleyball court; corn hole/bean bag toss; horse shoes; ping pong table under covered porch; firepit; 2 hammocks; 2 stand up paddleboards; 2 kayaks; and a high-end boathouse with tiki bar, fridge and freezer, large sunning/swim deck, huge screened porch, and room for all of your watercraft. Within a short walk, this wonderful neighborhood also has community Tennis Court, Basketball Court, Volleyball Pit, Boat Ramp and neighborhood beach.

NEW: Property has its own Ethanol-Free Gas Tank for the use of our guests (extra charges apply). Bring your own boat or rent ours, you can fuel your boat from our gas supply for a reasonable price per gallon.

The media/entertainment area boasts a movie theater with 120 inch screen and 7.1 surround sound, HULU Live, Blu Ray/dvd player; pool table; full pub-bar with ice maker, fridge and a dishwasher; separate pub/pool table TV. Two story main level great room includes beautiful stone surround gas fireplace, 58 inch TV with surround sound, and the most amazing lake views!
The gourmet kitchen will be the envy of any chef and comes with top-of-the-line appliances: two sub-zero refrigerators, a sub-zero wine fridge with two additional fridge drawers, 2 ovens, 48 inch dacor range top and dacor microwave, 2 dishwashers, a pantry room with another sub-zero freezer and a separate commercial style dish washing sink. Plenty of seating for meals at the huge 12 foot dining table, 3 kitchen bar counters, and eat-in screened porch.
